Refund Policy:

14 day right of return

Goods purchased at www.københavnskunsthandel.dk are exchanged for up to 14 days. The money can be refunded on presentation of an invoice within 14 days from the time of purchase. Returns require that the item is in the same condition as when you received it.

If you regret your purchase, you can send the item back together with the invoice, or return it to one of our physical stores in Denmark. However, you pay the return postage yourself.

  1. ORDER

When you shop at københavnskunsthandel.dk, all agreements are concluded in Danish.

Most goods are traded in accordance with applicable second-hand VAT rules.

When you have completed an order, you will shortly receive an order confirmation. You can never be invoiced for more than you have approved in connection with the order. In the event that an item has been discontinued, you will only be charged for the final invoice amount.

  1. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

All Danish orders are delivered within 1-5 days by parcel post.

  1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

When shopping at københavnskunsthandel.dk, you as a customer have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Act. Your 14-day right of withdrawal means that you, as a customer, can receive the item, unpack it and see if it is as expected. If you regret your purchase, you return the item to us. The condition for using the right of withdrawal is that Copenhagen Art Trade receives the item(s) in question back in the same condition and quantity as it was on delivery. Regret can also be done by refusing to receive the package or by handing the item over personally to us at Sønder Boulevard 81.

  1. COMPLAINT

If the item is defective or otherwise suffers from a fault, you have the option to advertise in accordance with Danish law. The Purchase Act provides a right of complaint for 24 months. This means that you can either get the item repaired, exchanged, the money back or the price reduced, depending on the specific situation. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damage-causing behaviour.

You must advertise within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the lack of the item. If you complain within two months of discovering the defect, the complaint will always be timely.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be sent back in proper packaging, and remember to get a receipt for sending so that we can refund your shipping costs.

  1. HANDLING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We reserve the right for typing errors, price changes and out-of-stock items.

  1. CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION

All disputes in connection with purchases on københavnskunsthandel.dk must be settled in accordance with Danish law, with Copenhagen as the proper venue.

Delivery Policy:

Delivery times
As these are different products, it can take up to 1-2 working days before they are dispatched.
Normal delivery times for stock items are typically 3-5 days within Denmark, and 7-14 working days abroad.

Freight
In Denmark, shipping costs DKK 195

For deliveries abroad, a fee is added according to the freight supplier's applicable standard rates. If you are shopping from a country outside the EU, such as Norway or Switzerland, please note that any customs and VAT fees may be added to the shipment and collected upon receipt.

We also point out that you, as a customer, are responsible for specifying the correct delivery address, email and telephone number.

Shipping DKK 195 applies only in Denmark (not Greenland and the Faroe Islands).
